Lakeview Custom, Mahogany

A lakefront-adjacent custom home for a multigenerational family — three living zones, two kitchens, and a guest suite designed to feel like its own apartment. The challenge was scale: keeping a 4,400-square-foot home from feeling like a hotel. We solved it by breaking the volumes — the great room sits a half-storey down, the den steps up by three risers, and the dining room is held in its own pavilion off the main hall. The result reads as a sequence of intimate rooms inside one large house.
