Warranty
Coverage that outlasts the punch list.
The Alberta New Home Warranty Program protects every home built by a registered builder. We've been registered for over twenty years.
Every NewLook home is covered 1-2-5-10.
Provincial-mandated coverage standing behind every door, roofline, and structural beam — administered through the Alberta New Home Warranty Program.
- 1Year
Workmanship & materials
Defects in labour and materials are covered for the first year — the period when most issues surface.
- 2Years
Distribution systems
Plumbing, heating, electrical, and ventilation are covered for two full years.
- 5Years
Building envelope
Water-tightness of walls, windows, and roof for five years — Calgary winters tested.
- 10Years
Major structural
Frame, foundation, load-bearing structure — a decade of coverage on the bones of the home.
More than the legal minimum.
The 1-2-5-10 framework is a floor, not a ceiling. We back our work with a direct line — your project manager's number, kept current after handover, for as long as you own the home. Most warranty calls turn into a conversation, not a claim.

Warranty questions
- One year on materials and workmanship. Two years on plumbing, heating, electrical, and ventilation distribution systems. Five years on the building envelope (water-tightness of walls, windows, roof). Ten years on major structural defects (frame, foundation, load-bearing structure). All administered by the Alberta New Home Warranty Program.
- Call us first. The vast majority of warranty calls turn into a same-day conversation and a tradesperson back on site within the week — no paperwork required. If a claim does need formal process, we walk you through ANHWP's procedure together.
